Business Manager
I am Chinese-born and grew up in Indonesia. I came to New Zealand in 1987, mostly lived in Auckland and worked for a number of Chartered Accountant firms. My other previous work/business experiences include: Student Literature Evangelist, Computer Programmer, Real Estate Salesperson, Network Marketer and Property Investor. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife (Erni) and two lovely daughters: Grace and Jacinda.
I moved from Auckland to Longburn Adventist College (LAC) to fulfil God’s calling. I have a vision for LAC to be the best Christian school in New Zealand, and the place where students can accept Jesus as their friend and personal Saviour. I know it is a big challenge for me, but with the support of all LAC’s dedicated staff, teachers, management and God’s blessing, everything is possible.
My hobbies, in no particular order, are: art, antiques, bee keeping, fishing, gardening and good food.
One of my favourite Bible texts is Matthew 6:33-34,
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
