I am so thankful to be at LAC, a place where the ‘big’ questions we have about our lives can be asked and the answers considered. The family atmosphere and unity have been very uplifting for me and that is why my children will attend school here.
My wife Kim and our three children - Georgia, Declan and Ellie - own a few acres of dirt in Kairanga. We have been truly blessed to be able to enjoy the country and still be so close to town.
LAC is so full of opportunity to grow. I have been in awe of the memories that teachers have created for their students, from overseas service trips to school productions, and exemplary results in NCEA to Bibles in Schools. I get excited when I think about the lives that have been changed for the good at LAC, and some of them radically changed. There is rarely a dull day!
LAC is the highlight of my teaching career not because of my position but because of the joy I have gained in being a part of such significant success in people. That comes from putting Christ first and acknowledging that we are all God’s children.
