Head Librarian
I believe I have the most rewarding job in the school! There are times when the library is full to capacity, whether the students are there wanting a quiet place to study, to keep warm from the cold winters, read their favorite book or make use of the comfy chairs available.
The last two years have been a real experience in setting goals for the library and seeing them come to fruition.
I love interacting with students on a daily basis, whether they need help in finding a book for their project, printing, photocopying or are needing an encouraging word.
Longburn Adventist College has been such a rewarding place to work, from staff to students to the special character of our school and sharing Jesus.
I am married to a wonderful man, William Arama, who is currently our local Pastor for Palmerston North Central SDA church. We have five beautiful children (three girls and two boys), of which three have studied at LAC and we currently have two children here in Year 11 and Year 9. I’m a full time mum, full time worker, a part time student studying NZ Diploma in Business majoring in accounting, and I love working for the Lord. My hobbies are reading (of course!), family time, fishing, tennis and travelling our country when we can.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the lord with all heart and lean not unto your own understanding, in all ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.
