Receptionist
One of my biggest passions in life is creating lasting relationships with all those who enter the doors of LAC. My role as the school receptionist allows me to serve, in a variety of ways; students, parents, visitors and staff who require assistance of any kind.
I first started out as a secretary in the ESOL department of LAC in 2003, and in 2007 I took up my current role. The reception desk is often a hive of activity but I find this stimulating and rewarding. Working ‘at the desk’ is God’s calling and I strongly believe He has placed me here as a fulfilment of His plans for me.
I am Australian but have spent the last 14 years in New Zealand. I am married to Steve and we have two sons, Shane, who completed Year 12 at LAC, and Benjamin, currently in Year 7 at LAC.
I find great delight in technology, gardening, reading, talking with friends and spending quality time with my family.
LAC has provided a supportive and caring community for our family and by serving others I feel privileged to be a part of a great team that serves God. |
