Principal’s Personal Assistant
I commenced working at LAC in February 2000 as Management Assistant and Principal’s PA. Part of my job is administrator for enrolments and this is by far the best part as I am involved in the ‘front line’ of meeting our students and their families. This puts a real face to the concept of providing caring, Christian education for our young people.
My own two children (now adults and married!) attended LAC for their high school years and in retrospect I can honestly say it was the best decision for them. LAC gave them not only an excellent education, but their teachers really cared for them and taught so much more than just academics.
I am proud now to be able to give something back to LAC in my role here. My previous working background had been in totally secular jobs, and to be here, where the love of God is taught and practised, is truly a privilege.
I am also privileged to be able to work with my husband/best friend, Stan, who is Assistant Principal at LAC. Outside of school I enjoy being part of the music ministry at our church (worship leading and singing), reading, and all the contact I can get with family!
People make our lives richer, and I am so blessed to know so many wonderful people in and out of work hours. |
