Hi all! I’m in my twenties, and teach Mathematics and Physics with a passion. I have a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Physics and Mathematics, along with my teaching qualification. LAC is the first school where I have taught, and I am really enjoying it.

I think the reason I love Mathematics and Physics is because they are very logical subjects. If you know the rules that things follow, the way they work, then you can often tell what will happen next.  The concept of solving problems or predicting patterns is one we all use every day, by, for example, calculating a velocity or length, or establishing patterns in data. I also really like the idea of trying to understand this world that God has created, and using the understanding we have to make cool stuff happen. For example, computers are based on binary mathematics and transistors, and musical instruments are all based around the physics concept of standing waves.

Speaking of music, another thing I love about LAC is that I am not limited to teaching. I have a passion for the guitar and drums, and I am involved in the student-led Chapel Band at school. I absolutely love working with young people who are passionate about sharing their faith with others and worshipping God with their talents.
