Hospitality/Technology Teacher
I became a teacher because I am passionate about inspiring the younger generation to achieve their own level of success. I love the continual learning process and the ability to be able to pass that knowledge on to others. I love building relationships with my students and getting to know their personal aspirations in life. I chose Longburn Adventist College as the pathway to reach students because of the dedicated commitment to God that I see here. It is such a blessing that we can share in our love for the Lord, pray together and use scripture in our daily teachings and help students make their own deep connection with the Father, our Creator. To see young lives being touched by the Holy Spirit and being on fire for God inspires me and encourages me to constantly look at my own spiritual walk.
My personal hobbies and interests in life consist of reading novels, spending time with friends and family, watching movies, listening to music (groups such as Casting Crowns and NewWorldSon) and being a part of Bible study groups. One of my biggest goals is to inspire others to create an intimate relationship with God.
I want to leave you with my favourite verse in the Bible:
“For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
