Boarding Director
I grew up in Auckland and attended Ponsonby SDA church from birth until 1989. I trained at Epsom Teachers’ College from 1974 to 1976 and taught at Mangere College from 1977 to 1989. I started teaching at LAC in 1990 and became the boarding girls’ dean in 1992.
In 1999, I became Head of Boarding, which meant full time management and care of the boys’ and girls’ dormitories, after school, weekend and school holiday programmes.
I am thankful to God for my loving husband and four children, two of whom married ex-LAC students.
I still believe it’s a great life at LAC.
