Year 10 Dean
Japanese Teacher
I come from Malawi, the warm heart of Africa; and, yes, not quite a Japanese name but I spent three years in Japan, teaching English as a second language and learning some Japanese along the way. Through that, I developed such a passion for the Japanese people and my students. I have had the privilege of living in several countries and have always admired the courage of students who want to take a step into the international world, and motivate themselves to learn. One of my desires is to be THAT person who will help them achieve their goal. The world is a fascinating blend of cultures and people, and I have found it extremely rewarding to be instrumental in bringing a culture to them.
Among the things I enjoy are teaching, reading, cooking, and playing darts. |
