“I love learning Japanese. It is so interesting, useful and, yes, loads of fun. A second language is a very useful tool in today’s society. Japanese is a wide spread, fast-growing language so it is a great choice if you want to learn a new skill. It is very enjoyable and the lessons are always informative, whether we are learning about the culture (like what not to do with your chopsticks or which pair of shoes you would wear inside or how to read a Japanese menu!). But don’t get me wrong, learning a language, especially one as complicated as Japanese, is no piece of cake! It takes a lot of hard work and motivation but the efforts are well worth it. I have been at LAC for almost five years. I’m very proud to have come here because I have made such awesome friends and it’s easy to get along with everyone.
