LAC Retention Rate /Pass Rate

LAC not only has pleasing NCEA results but, perhaps more importantly, LAC keeps most of its students until Year 13.

There were 40 Year 11 students in 2007 at LAC, and by the end of 2009 32 of them had gained NCEA Level 3. Only 8 students had left, or failed to achieve NCEA Level 3.

Across New Zealand schools the national averages would suggest that only 15 of the 40 Year 11 students would gain NCEA Level 3.
