Computer Studies

The LAC Computing Department consists of three Computer labs, with an average of 25 computers in each lab.  There are also computers in the library and in various classrooms.

We offer unlimited internet access; however, the content is filtered for inappropriate content.  Students are given a personal file share, where they can store files which are accessible to only them, as well as access to shared resources.

Computing is also offered as a subject. Students complete a range of Unit Standards from Level 1-4 and a selection of Achievement Standards.  We have many Year 10 and 11 students doing units at higher levels, e.g., Year 10 students successfully doing Level 1, 2 & 3 units.
