 Learning Support

Longburn Adventist College has a commitment to identify students with special learning and/or behavioural needs and to provide inclusive programmes aimed at meeting those needs within the classroom. If additional support is required, this is done through the Learning Support Department and may include an Individual Education Plan (IEP), Teacher Aide assistance, extra tuition through withdrawal groups, or an adapted programme.

Supporting learning is teamwork, and at LAC we value the home-school relationship and work with parents/whanau when setting up programmes for our students with special needs.
