Spiritual Emphasis Week

LAC provides two weeks of Spiritual Emphasis, one in term one led by the Chaplain , and the other in term three led by the senior students. In term one, a guest speaker from outside of the school is invited to speak on a theme. Each morning of these two weeks, the first period is devoted to these unique times.

The purpose of these weeks is to give students the opportunity to be led closer to God in their relationship – and in many instances resulting in students committing their life to God.

These two weeks, for many students, are the spiritual highlight of the year. The program involves praise, drama, special musical items, prayer time and challenging speakers.
