The Big Sing – New Zealand Choral Federation
In June this year, the LAC Choir participated in the annual Manawatu Big Sing Competition. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by the students, building confidence in their abilities as singers and performers. This year a student, Rachel Jaboon, stepped forward and offered her services to lead the choir in the song entitled ‘This is Me’ from the movie The Greatest Showman. The adjudicator acknowledged her efforts and also commended the boys for maintaining their harmony. The soloists, Eva Ruiz and NN Miado did a fine job opening delivering their solos and were strongly encouraged and applauded by the audience. All in all, it was a day to remember!
