LAC is about to launch the digital Work Ready Passport (WRP) to all our students.  WRP is a collection of evidence (certificates, written answers, photos, reports etc.) in the 10 Key Competencies below:

  1. Work experience
  2. Communication
  3. Restricted driver's license
  4. Teamwork
  5. Being drug-free
  6. Life skills
  7. Personal Wellness
  8. Managing your money
  9. Workplace health and safety
  10. Academic achievements

Students can start collecting evidence in each of these areas by signing up at myblueprint.co.nz, click on APPS in the top right and choose Work Ready.

This is part of our school's goal of preparing every student for a successful transition from education to employment.  Students will be coached on how WRP works and encouraged to work on this in their own time and followed up during Careers Appointments and various class times.
