CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
|IF YOUR STUDENT IS LEAVING LAC PERMANENTLY…||….and you have not already advised us of this, please contact us URGENTLY as we will need to withdraw them from our roll officially. Phone or email Glynis Walsh with this information. Please do not rely on students (or other LAC staff) to convey the information. (2016 Year 13s are already flagged for withdrawal, so no need to tell us about these; only other year levels).|
|IF YOU HAVE A STUDENT ATTENDING LAC FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 2017||You will receive a REGISTRATION BOOKLET by email or post;|
Please attend to this urgently so that we can have your child’s details entered onto our database before school starts.
If you have any questions about this process, please contact Glynis Walsh (firstname.lastname@example.org) in the office.
|Dates can be seen on the LAC website and through the LAC portal.|
Important dates to keep in mind:
|INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRST DAY OF 2017||Upon arrival at school, listen for PA announcements which will direct each year level to the appropriate venue.|
Note: Morning roll mark is at 8:40am daily. All students arriving after 9.00am must check in at the office to sign in and receive a ‘late note’.
|YEAR 11-13 SUBJECT CONFIRMATION||Most students for Y11-13 2017 have already chosen their subjects, and just need to turn up ready for classes on the first school day.|
Please contact Mrs Aiono (email@example.com) if you are a new student in Y11-13 and have not yet chosen your subjects.
|LOCKERS||Lockers are available for an annual fee of $10. Payment should be made to Allison Flood in the school office.|
Students who have had a locker in 2016 and wish to keep it in 2017 are able to do so upon payment of the annual $10 fee.
New students and others may also secure a locker on payment of the fee.
|STUDENT HANDBOOK/DIARY||Parents and students are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the content in the handbook. It contains detailed information about school procedures. ‘|
The 2017 Student Handbook can be downloaded and viewed here: Student Handbook
The student homework diary contains a summary of information on school procedures, rules and expectations. Students will receive their copy at the beginning of the school year.
|UNIFORM||Students are expected to be in correct full uniform from their first day at school. Please ensure that all items are marked with the student’s name. If at any time your child cannot wear full and correct uniform, please send a note with an explanation. The student should then present the note to the Deputy Principal to receive a uniform pass for the day.|
