After volleyball with the participation of 35 students, lawn bowls on a Tuesday afternoon is still a favourite with 31! Touch was a distant 3rd.
Every Tuesday students lined up for the bus to go to “BBQ and Bowls” at the Northern Bowling Club. Here they learnt essential bowling skills from Paul Darbyshire and his team of volunteers – and all had some fun in the sun. They also participated in secondary school team games and competitions with other school students. However, the highlight for all was the weekly BBQ sponsored by Sport Manawatu!
