This year LAC raised almost $3,000 for the children of South Sudan through World Vision.
To raise funds, we held a mufti day, chip sales, bake sales and a World Vision Fundraising Concert (photos below). The Concert featured guest artists from around Palmerston North, a PNG dance, the LAC Choir, String Ensemble and other acts.
The team who lead the fundraising consisted of ten students ranging from Year 7 to 13. Involving younger students gave them an opportunity to gain experience in leadership. We are grateful to the thirty students who made the effort to raise money and to the few courageous students who actually took on the challenge of the 40 Hour Famine. A huge kudos to you all.
Thank you for caring enough to make a difference!
