UNIFORM
LAC Hats & Blazers
Term 4 brings more sunshine! LAC have introduced new uniform caps and bucket hats that will be available from the uniform shop, Academy Apparel, in time for the sun.
A newly designed school blazer will also be available during Term 4, as soon as manufacturing is completed. The new blazer is an optional uniform item for all students in Years 7-11. The blazer is compulsory for students in Years 12-13.
Keep an eye out for other additional uniform items, including a woollen scarf and beanie, and the cultural tupenu/sulu/ie faitaga/lavalava, which will match the blazer. These items will be available from Academy Apparel next year.
No Ties Term 4!
Students can leave their ties at home for Term 4.
Hair
Is it time for a hair cut in readiness for Term 4? Check requirements in the student handbook.
Shoes
Regulation, lace-up school shoes are needed. Water-proofing them could help them last longer! Roman sandals may be a good option as the weather warms up.

We have a number of students involved in Sports at LAC. Please come and celebrate the sporting achievements of our students which will include categories such as Most Valuable Player, Most Improved Player, All Round Legend, Sports Team of the Year and most highly valued award, Sportsperson of the Year.

Y7&8 Picture Books
Picture books are due to be published Week 1 of Term 4. This has been a huge project and the books are starting to look awesome! However, some still have a lot of work to do over the holidays.
Mrs Ngarepa will be supervising a couple of sessions in classroom A3 during the holidays to support the completion of these.
Wednesday 2 October, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (Bring $5 for a pizza lunch) and Thursday 3 October, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
All Year 7&8 students who want to work on their picture books are welcome to come, for all or part of either of these two days.
