Boarding at LAC House

Welcome to LAC House

‘Kia Puawai Tatou | The Lord’s Plans’ based on Jeremiah 29:11

‘LAC House’ (©2013) is the official title for the Longburn Adventist College Boys’ and Girls’ Residential Dormitories. LAC House is a co-educational boarding establishment for Year 7 to 13 students within the South Pacific Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  We are owned and operated by the Longburn Adventist College Board of Governors.  We are an extended family of students and staff who live together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We look forward to including you in our great big family.

At LAC House, boarding is so much more than just a place to stay—it’s a vibrant, nurturing community where students build lifelong friendships and grow into independent, self-managed young adults. Grounded in our shared Christian faith, life here is guided by ‘The LAC Way’: Acting with Respect, Leading with Integrity, and Cultivating Resilience.

We understand that moving away from home, familiar surroundings, or even your home country can feel like a daunting step for young people. That is why our dedicated boarding staff and tight-knit student family focus on building deep, supportive relationships. Here, every student is seen, valued, and encouraged to embrace the beautiful promise of Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” At LAC House, we don't just prepare students for an ever-changing world—we walk alongside them as they discover their purpose within it.
