Below is a basic list of items new boarders should bring when moving into LAC House.

Bedding

Bring your own duvet (and covers), sheets, pillow, and pillowcases. A sleeping bag is optional but handy for school trips. An electric blanket is recommended during the colder months, and additional bedding can be easily purchased from local stores such as Kmart or The Warehouse if needed.

Toiletries

Pack your everyday personal care items, including soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, and any other hygiene products you use regularly. Girls should also bring their own sanitary products.

Laundry Supplies

You’ll need washing powder, clothes pegs, and a laundry basket to manage your weekly washing. Labelled items help ensure nothing gets mixed up or misplaced.

Room Decorations

Feel free to personalise your space with small items such as family photos, a room clock, or other simple decorations to make your room feel more like home.

Clothing

Bring a selection of casual wear and church clothing, ensuring all garments are clearly named. This helps keep track of your belongings in a busy boarding environment.
