LAC House

LAC House Team

We are Family

Family is one of the most influential parts of a young person’s life because belonging matters to everyone. At LAC House, we aren’t just a boarding school –we are a family. There is a unique, undeniable feeling of warmth here that can only be described as the presence of the Holy Spirit, and our team is deeply passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of our students.

Our dedicated team works together daily to create this safe, nurturing, supportive home away from home. The day-to-day life in the dormitories is guided by our Boarding Director, and managed by the Head of Girls’ and Head of Boys’ Dorm, and Volunteer Assistant Deans, living and working alongside the boarders.

With a male and female dean always available to support, guide, and assist students at any hour – supported by our wonderful kitchen staff who prepare nutritious meals – your children are fully cared for. It is our collective prayer that our boarders catch a glimpse of Jesus through us as we share life, overcome challenges, and celebrate victories together.

Meet the LAC House Family

Stephanie Ngarepa
Stephanie Ngarepa
LAC House Boarding Director, Bible, Music, Digital Technology, Staff Representative
LAC is Steph’s home and her mission field. Her connection with the school began in the mid-1990s when she attended as a boarding student, and in July 2025, she stepped into the role of Boarding Director. Steph loves working with young people and genuinely enjoys spending time with them—she says they keep her young and constantly remind her of how amazing God is. She believes God has richly blessed the LAC community with a nurturing environment and that the school ultimately belongs to Him. Her prayer is that the young people catch a glimpse of Jesus through the staff as they care for, support, and interact with your precious children, sharing the stories of what God has done in their own lives.
